From the Delaware National Guard Facebook post:
Delaware National Guard Soldier, Staff Sgt. Brianna Glen, Dental Technician with the Medical Readiness Detachment shares her experience learning vital K9 life-saving skills during this year’s Annual Training. In addition, the lifesaving skills Glen learned will help her know what to do with new dog “Bella” in case of emergency.
The vital training provided Soldiers the opportunity to learn real world K9 trauma simulations to give Soldiers an idea of what they would face with animal patient care. The K9 tactical field care training led by instructor and veterinarian Dr. Sharon Minninger with Techline Trauma. Special thanks to Techline Trauma and Telford Veterinary Hospital for the great training opportunity for our guard members.
